THE OLD GLOBE DESIGN ASSISTANT The Old Globe seeks a Design Assistant with a strong background in technical theatre. The Design Assistant facilitates design communication between various departments, assists scenic designers, draws detail, builds models, and attends all tech and dress rehearsals and previews. Must be fluent in AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Photoshop, and Illustrator programs. Must have design skills, model-making skills, and knowledge of period styles. BA in Scenic Design or equivalent experience required. Must be available for overtime as needed and evening and weekend work. This is a fulltime position with benefits. Starts September.
